This is followed by a chapter on decommissioning, once again from design of the process to recycling. The requirements of certifying authorities and insurers are then discussed, leading to a chapter on environmental impact assessment, which considers pre and post mortem inspection and environmental life cycle assessment. Readers are then presented with a series of case studies to illustrate the principles discussed in the preceding chapters. A summary and conclusions complete the book.
